How to insert a Youtube video in your post:
(Youtube BBCode tag Added)

It's now easy to insert youtube videos on your posts.

1-click on the "youtube" button while you're on the "post a new topic" screen.

2-You'll now see a set of youtube tags like this:

In between these two tags, insert the code letters of your you-tube video that you want displayed. Don't insert anything more than this, or it will not work! You want the letters or numbers that appear after the equal sign "=" on the youtube video.

If you are having trouble finding a clean version of the youtube URL, just click on the box that says "URL" to the left (here's an example)

Here's an example of the code you'll need to put between the opening and closing youtube tags:

So, for example, on this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xt85C76m6fQ you would only need to insert the "Xt85C76m6fQ" between the two youtube tags, like this:

3-Now, just click your "Submit" button

Your post should now have a video in your post, which will look something like this:

Well, although roofing and solar power are not exactly the hottest topics out there as far as videos are concerned, there are related & helpful instructional and educational materials out there, so hopefully this will make it easier for you to add videos to your posts, whether they be about foam roofing, solar power, or green construction.

This is interesting, there is an article about foam roofing vs. BUR roofs on this forum. It would be interesting to see a video about a BUR tar & gravel roof installation I think. On the other hand, the process does look pretty straight forward; clear the roof, lay down the paper, mop, mop, mop that hot asphalt then put rocks on top.. viola. Oh--and of course, I think flashing would need to be done first as part of the preparatory work.
